About Cricut Crafting

Hi! I'm Caitlin.

In my spare time, I do a lot of chasing my little boy around. I live in Upstate New York, where I spend most of the winter whining, and the other two months (okay, maybe I’m exaggerating) in my hammock reading a book. I rarely meet a baked good I don’t like, and am forever in search of the perfect cup of coffee. When the mood strikes me, I also tackle DIY projects around my house. In 2019 my husband and I turned our tiny spare bedroom into a craft space for my Cricut Maker to live in. Now, it serves a dual purpose as a home office, and it’s where I do my best (and ALL) work.

I have been drawing, painting, crafting and generally creating for as long as I can remember. I’ve got a career background littered with different creative endeavors. After graduating with a Fine Art degree and a Master’s in Business, I spent plenty of time in marketing, sprinkling in my graphic design whenever possible. I’ve also owned and taught at a paint and sip studio. As I’ve been focusing on my Cricut projects the past couple of years, the next logical step was to combine my love of Cricut crafting and teaching!

You’ve probably landed here, because you were looking for some project inspiration, or you are mulling signing up for a Cricut class. Either way, I’m so glad that you’re here! When I first formed this idea to hold classes virtually, I was thinking about all of the reasons that I love posting my craft projects online. One of the big reasons is that I really enjoy the community and the feedback that surrounds crafting on social media. Crafters are hungry for new inspiration, and it’s a genuinely positive place (especially during tough times!).

I am a firm believer that anyone can create given the right tools and support. My goal when teaching is to create a space free from judgement where participants can relax, unconcerned with their skill level, and make something beautiful. I’m looking forward to meeting you in class. Don’t hesitate to drop me a note or send me a DM on Instagram if you have any questions or just want to chat (
